Gujarat NEET UG Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026equire a set of basic eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the counselling rounds are listed below:
Students are required to obtain a Minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in PCB.
In the Nationality Criteria, NRIs can apply under the NRI quota, whereas Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals are eligible only for deemed universities in Gujarat, not for State Quota MBBS seats.
Students who have completed Class 10 and 12 outside Gujarat, but hold a valid Gujarat domicile certificate, are also eligible for Gujarat NEET UG 2026.
The minimum age for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling process is 17 years as of 31 December 2026.
Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026 Important Notes
- To know about the dates and events of the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2025, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
- Admission for courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS is based on the NEET UG examination. ACPUGMEC doesn’t consider GUJCET for the examination process.
- For categories like SC, ST, SEBC, and EWS, seats are reserved at around 7% for SC, 15% for ST, 27% for SEBC, and 10% for EWS. In addition, 5% of seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PwD).
- Candidates are required to bring all the original certificates mentioned in the admission letter.
- Based on the NEET-UG merit, Management quota seats of Medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS), Ayurveda (BAMS), and Homoeopathy (BHMS) undergraduate courses are filled by the Admission Committee.
Gujarat NEET UG Counselling Fees
Following the declaration of the NEET UG 2026 result, ACPUGMEC conducts the Gujarat NEET UG counselling 2026. Gujarat NEET UG Counselling registration fee is INR 1000 for all the students, which is non-refundable in nature. Along with the registration fee, candidates have to deposit the security fee of INR 10,000 for the General category, and INR 5000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. Unlike the registration fee, the Security fee is refundable. Candidates are required to stay vigilant during the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling process to avoid any issues.
Gujarat NEET UG Counselling Procedures
Registration: Candidates are required to register at the official website by uploading the required documents and information, which includes NEET 2026 roll number, email, and Phone number.
Verification of documents: Visit the designated office for verification of the documents.
Preparation of Merit List: Based on the ranks of the candidates, the merit list will be prepared and it will be uploaded on the official website.
Choice filling: candidates whose names appear in the merit list will have to indicate their choices (Courses/colleges) in the order of preference.
Allocation of seats: Based on the merit of the candidates and choices filled by them, seats will be allocated and will be uploaded online.
