MCC NEET Counselling is the official centralized process for allotting MBBS and BDS seats in India under the All India Quota (AIQ). The counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Through this process, candidates who qualify the NEET UG examination can apply for admission to government medical colleges, deemed universities, ESIC institutions, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other central universities across the country.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) was established as per Supreme Court directions and government regulations. Its primary responsibility is to conduct online counselling for:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in undergraduate medical and dental courses
- 50% AIQ seats in postgraduate medical courses
- 100% seats in super-specialty courses such as DM and MCh
MCC ensures a transparent, merit-based, and efficient admission process for medical and dental colleges throughout India. Participation in MCC NEET Counselling requires a valid NEET UG score, and seat allotment is done based on rank, preferences, and seat availability.
