UP NEET UG Counselling 2026

UP NEET UG Counselling is the admission procedure for MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The counselling is conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP). Candidates who have qualified the NEET UG examination are eligible to participate in the state counselling process. The admission procedure includes online registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college to complete the admission formalities.

To participate in UP NEET UG Counselling , the candidates must meet certain criteria:

Age Limit: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit. 

Qualify NEET UG 2026: Secure the minimum qualifying percentile in the NEET UG 2026 examination.

Domicile Requirement: For 85% state quota seats, candidates must be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh. Those who have completed both Class 10 and 12 from UP schools are exempted from submitting a domicile certificate.

Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as subjects.

  • Online Registration: Visit upneet.gov.in and complete the UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration.
  • Fee Payment: Pay registration and security fees online.
  • Document Upload: Upload scanned documents.
  • Choice Filling & Locking: Select colleges and lock your choices.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on NEET UG rank and preferences.
  • Result & Reporting: Download the UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Result and report to the allotted college.
  • Registration Fee: ₹2,000 (non-refundable)
  • Security Deposit: For government medical colleges, the security deposit is ₹30,000. If a student chooses a private medical college, the fee is ₹2,00,000. For private dental colleges, the counselling fee is ₹1,00,000.
